Economic and Social Council and Regional Bodies

The seven committees in the Economic and Social Council and Regional Bodies at HMUN India 2019 include the medium-sized councils, commissions, and programmes of the UN, which tackle issues of development, human rights, culture, economics, and trade. The Regional Bodies include both UN and non-UN committees that are made up of countries from specific regions, and discuss topics more specifically pertinent to those regions.
